After a couple of posts on songs, what time is it ? Tag time of course..
Priya Iyer tagged me with what she calls the Wishing Tag. Here goes my version of it..
Rule: Please thoughtfully consider the following, and choose one item for each of the categories below. (Be sure to describe your reasons for choosing)
1) One religious work from a non-familiar tradition you’ll read…
Slighta havent finished Bhagavath Gita istelf yet..
[Make that a sheepish grin
] Something like “Mahayana Sutras” hoping they’d be easier to understand. Oh, which -ism do you ask?? Ahem.. Buddhism
2) One song that you like–from your ‘least likely to listen to’ genre…
I totally abhor Metal/ Heavy Metal types. Somehow I love “Numb” by Linkin Park.
I really don’t know why I love the song… Maybe because of the lyrics..
3) A book from a genre you almost never read, that you have read, or you will read (promise!):
Biographies. I’ve read only one till date: Indira: The life of Indira Nehru Gandhi by Katherine Frank. Super it was. Its actually an interesting genre to read but somehow I haven’t read many biographies.
4) Somewhere you’d never thought to go on holiday/vacation, and why it might be fun to go there?
A lonely isle, totally cut off from the rest of the world. I’m getting increasingly addicted to the mechanical way of life and dependent on technology. It’d be fun to get away from the mad rush.
5) A specific food you’ve never tried, but will because of this meme, honest!
Mediterranean food. Recently I heard that its gr8.. Meme or not, I’m going to try it out.. [Hey.. That rhymed .. didn't it??
]
6) A sport or game you really hate, or haven’t tried yet, but are willing to give one more go:
I generally don’t hate any sport.. I love them all .. ![]()
Game.. hmmm… Bridge.. It makes no sense to me as of now.. Gotta definitely give it one more try…
7) A style of dance you probably won’t try (we won’t make you promise on this one)
I love to dance!! But fortunately [for you] or unfortunately [for me] I’ve two left feet. Like music I’m a huge fan of dance, no matter what the style. So given a chance I’d love to dance . Even the dandanaka is ok
8 ) A career job you don’t feel you’re suited for, and why:
ROTFL… I cannot, for the life of me, understand anything about accounts , economics commerce etc.. So anything in that line, its best I stay away.. [If you are wondering whats the ROTFL doing in the beginning.. Go figure
]
9) What is it that you will dare to wear which you have never worn before?
Some day.. I’d love to wear something like this:
If only.. I’d get into shape..
10) If there’s one thing in life you wanted to do, and will do because of this meme, what will it be?
There are actually a lot of things I want to do in life.. So lets save that for a seperate post shall we??
UPDATE:
11) If there’s one topic you’re not comfortable blogging about, but would write about because of this tag, what would it be? [Courtesy : Priya ]
Whoa.. Would a politically correct answer do??
I most certainly won’t be comfortable blogging about some unpleasant incidents which I happened to be a part of. A rant is ok but not beyond that. Tag or not, no way I’ll write about it. Otherwise, I’m ok with most topics. :S Was that the right answer???
As for the tagging part.. its the usual suspects:
Abinaya
Gansense
Rajaji
I can see you guys scrunching up your face and asking why us again.. Because everyone else I know has already been tagged..
What you ain’t scrunching up?? .. Aww.. I know you are such a sweetheart..

I’m seeing this tag in most of the blogs on my blogroll, and that gave me an idea.. so can you please add one more question to this tag and answer it for me?
11) If there’s one topic you’re not comfortable blogging about, but would write about because of this tag, what would it be?

thanks, A!
there is no right answer, ofcourse.. its just that I find some bloggers are very outspoken about any issue under the sun..and some tend to avoid the sensitive subjects.. so wanted your opinions on that.. personal things are different, I was looking at generic topics that’s still not-so-discussed in the open in India..
